TS Major Requirements

BS in Technological Systems Management

Technological Systems Management (TSM) prepares graduates to lead digital initiatives and manage major projects that help organizations adjust and innovate in fast-paced global environments of technological change and disruption.

The degree requirements below apply to students who entered in the Spring 2026 semester.
The degree requires the completion of the Stony Brook University Curriculum (SBC) degree requirements with at least 120 credit hours of passing work and least 39 credits of upper division work (numbered 300 and higher). Completion of the major requires approximately 79 credits.

    Note 1: Other 300/400 level courses in the area of specialization are allowed upon the approval of the TSM advisor

    Note 2: Students in the 5-Year BS/MS program can take EST 581 and EST 582 as electives.
