Joongho Lee is a Ph.D. student whose research focuses on the governance, risks, and societal impacts of artificial intelligence. His work examines how AI policy and regulatory frameworks can advance responsible innovation while addressing critical challenges related to safety, risk management, privacy protection, and the ethical use of data and algorithms.

Combining perspectives from public policy, organizational studies, and technology governance, Joongho investigates how governments, firms, and institutions adapt to rapid technological change and strategically integrate AI into decision-making processes. He is particularly interested in how organizations can design systems that mitigate AI-related risks, strengthen safety mechanisms, safeguard individual privacy, and build ethical accountability into technological and managerial practices.

By exploring these intersections, Joongho aims to develop governance and strategic models that balance innovation with ethical responsibility and public trust, ensuring that AI technologies are deployed in ways that are safe, transparent, and socially accountable.
