Mr. Daeyup Yu is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Technology and Society at Stony Brook University.
Starting from joining into Dongbu Group in 2006, he has worked at various institutions, including CJ CheilJedang, George Mason University Korea, and Medical Foundation Yongin Mental Hospital, for the past 17 years. In particular, he has carried out multiple projects, such as M&A and JVC establishments in such Southeast Asian countries as Vietnam and Indonesia. While working as a Planning Director at Yongin Mental Hospital, he carried out “Smart hospital” projects organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. He also supported activities from Geneva while overseeing the administration of the WHO Collaborating Centre. His primary research fields are IoMT platform and digital healthcare.
