DTS Professor Suzana Brown played a key role in organizing the 18th IFIP Working Group 9.4 Conference on the Implications of Information and Digital Technologies for Development, held in Cape Town from May 20-22, 2024.
At the conference, she chaired a session on “ICT in Displacement and Conflict Zones” and presented her paper, “Climate Change and Displacement: Emerging ICT Innovations from the World's Largest Refugee Camp.”
Additionally, Professor Brown led a panel discussion on “Artificial Intelligence and Ethics in the Global South.”
